More power to the engines!

We’ve been warned by the guys who run our datacentre that they’re having part of their power supply system upgraded on Saturday 6th March.

They run backup systems and “uninterruptable” power supplies, so there should be no downtime – but being the trusting souls that we are we’re preparing for some possible downtime of all our web components.

If things go wrong, this will affect our websites, Hermes players and Hermes workbench. We’ll be keeping a close eye on things (from our underground bunker) and will blog / tweet if anything should go wrong.

It’s scheduled between 6am PST and 12noon PST on Saturday 6th March.

We’re hopeful we’ll come through this unscathed, but to make sure please send all your positive vibes, prayers and ritual sacrifices to the engineers.
